Hello Beth Jacob Community,

We invite you to join us in the holy work of sustaining our beloved Beth Jacob Congregation, where every contribution helps weave the fabric of our shared Jewish life. Our annual year-end fundraising campaign, our largest fundraiser of the year, helps us fulfill our mission of Engaging Community and Living Judaism.

Each December, we come together to nurture the soul of our congregation. Your support transforms simple walls into a sanctuary of prayer, ordinary rooms into spaces where lifelong friendships bloom, and everyday moments into sacred memories. The end-of-year campaign helps support the vibrancy of our community by retaining inspiring rabbinic leadership as well as capable and caring staff, who create meaningful educational and religious programming for our community. It also helps keep the lights on, the building warm and clean, and the food plentiful – the mundane, but important things, which allow us to function as a kehilah kedosha, a holy community.

In 2024, our Community Conversations reiterated the community’s deep commitment to achieving financial sustainability – running a lean operation and raising enough money to pay for it and to keep our financial house in order. The year-end campaign goal is $140,000, or about 13% of our budget.

With profound gratitude, we announce that this year’s campaign will be anchored by a $60,000 matching gift 🎉 from an anonymous donor, an enthusiastic supporter of Beth Jacob. Thanks to this donor, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $60,000. We are challenging the rest of the congregation to raise the remaining $80,000. Early bird major gifts from several donors already total $16,000❤️!
